boredom makes you do all sorts of things that you don't get to do during your free time.OBVIOUSLY LIKE DUH k carry on reading. uh, so i never knew what the 'N' in 'N' levels stand for nor what the 'O' in 'O' levels stand for. so i went to see my result slip. i looked at my N level result slip and it said "SINGAPORE-CAMBRIDGE GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION NORMAL (ACADEMIC) LEVEL" thanks, i love capslock(s)! so the result slip looked completely appealing to me. thanks singapore. then i got my O level CLB (Chinese Language Basic) result slip ..uh i don't know when, i forgot when i recieved it. GCE ORDINARY LEVEL. i cut it short because i'm too lazy to type everything out. so.. what's the difference between 'N' levels and 'O' levels? i did some internet surfing. my skin got kinda tanned after i did this. dictionary.com as usual, and i got normal: conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural. ordinary: customary; usual; normal what, so N and O actually meant the same? other than the result slip being orange for O and blue for N. no kidding, i thought O would be a word with a deeper meaning like GCE Ohmygodthisexamkillsbraincells Level or Ohshitmaybeonlysmartassescandothisexam Level but lul, it means the same. ..we can't be that ordinary. but whatever new year is coming YAAAAAAAAAH! RED PACKETS YAHHH. COOKIES YAHHH AND MANDARIN ORANGES YAAH i don't actually like them but i'm just saying it anyways. my favourite part of CNY is the food, lion dance and the red packets. actually that's everything. i finished my math classwork. after that i had 3 (SMALL) bowls of silver needle noodles (i didn't know they were called silver needle noodles till i typed 'lao shu fen' in wikipedia.) and half a salted egg + japanese sausages i bought yesterday. BURRRR then i played FF7, and i stopped at the City of Ancients. before that i was at the Gold Saucer in the Ghost Hotel. and there was this iron maiden in the room. what is an "iron maiden"? if you think there was the band iron maiden in the room performing, no it was not. not that iron maiden. an iron maiden is a device used for torturing people. fated with torturing devices. anything i search for out of curiosity turns out to be a torturing device. not all the time, of course. so as i was saying AN IRON MAIDEN is a torturing device that is usually a cabinet made out of iron. usually the door facing the inside of the cabinet is lined with many sharp objects (such as knives or spikes) and positioned at areas where it will not pierce the vital organs so as to carry out a slow and torturous death. the condemned will die from the loss of blood or asphyxiation. asphyxiation is where someone is unable to get a decent supply of oxygen hence unable to breathe properly. an example is suffocation. for more information about the iron maiden, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_maiden_(torture_device) :s how i wish everyday was friday.   this bear watched the cloud beside it as it shitted stars while smiling at 5:00 PM.Monday, January 12, 2009

my name is your name and i am in secondary 5. i just had dinner and i am about to update my dusty domain.#1. happy be-verylated new year #2. congrats to everyone who got their n level results (swap #2 with #1 thanks) #3. i haven't posted anything since dec 19 WHAT THE FUCKKK- so i shall begin with: welcome to my humble abode. although this is not a house.. *cough*. right. i love vocabulary, although sometimes i hate it because occasionally when i think of a word i don't know where to squeeze it in when forming sentences BECAUSE i don't wanna make the sentence sound so desperate-to-proof-that-i-know-profound-words-ish. it is extremely annoying and drats, the o level results were released today. and i don't know my clb results yet? not like i am interested in knowing but i still wanna have the paper for keepsake. maybe i should check the board tomorrow. *refers back to http://reisylia.blogspot.com* i realized that my paragraphs are so overly packed and too wordy. are they? well i think so. and the fonts are small and white on a black background. sigh. fortunately for me, i am not going to edit my templates because i like it the way it is. if your eyes hurt just open notepad and c/p lah, since my blog is not some anti-underline crapsy. speaking of anti, do you guys pronounce 'anti' as 'en-tee' or 'en-tye'? i used to pronounce it as 'en-tee' but now i use 'en-tye'. i don't know which is correct, and i hope that word doesn't come out during oral. like i said today is the o level result release date. some people were crying, and some were also crying; although there is a big difference between the two. obviously last year's o levels must have been hellish and i cannot imagine what this year's o levels will be like. frankly speaking, i am quite worried. though my brother said that if this year's results are really bad, they'll lower the standard. and i don't wanna put too much hope into that. hoping gets me nowhere. okay.. since i said that, i should cancel off the part where i said "i hope that the word 'anti' will not come out during the o level oral.". i'd be better off learning the correct pronounciation of 'anti' then. i think the past few days have been kinda chilly. it's a good thing, anyway. i don't hate it. i have 2 quilts and 2 blankets but i think sometimes they're not enough. ah yes. cecelia gave me a terrapin for christmas, and i bought 3 more to befriend it. they are getting along very well :) thanks cecelia. was cleaning their tanks today (the big terrapin and the little ones, the big one's eyes are still closed.. i'm very worried that something will happen to him. GET WELL SOON PLEASE! :s) and today i added some smooth and gray pebbles into their tank.. they like it! and i like it too. i bet it feels like new furniture to them. for the past few days whenever i refill my waterbottle, i smell my terrapins. what i mean is when i refill my waterbottle i smell the water that's in my waterbottle and it smells like the water in the tank. i don't know why. i didn't put stabilizer in my water NOR have i put my terrapins into the bottle before.. i'm guessing it's because i change their tank water often so my nose saved the terrapin smell in its nose memory or something. i love terrapins because their mouth is triangle-shaped and they are so cute. by the way i can't change my flash fetish playlist in any way because i forgot my username and password due to not logging in for so long. HAHAHA. may your ears suffer happily. speaking of music, my ex-harman/kardon speakers were playing games; sometimes only the left speaker works, sometimes both, and sometimes both don't work, so i unplugged them and threw them away because my brother gave me a pair of his old speakers which i assumed were good ones, which turned out to be my false assumption because they make my music sound so husky. I REGRETTED DUMPING MY ORIGINAL ONES AWAY. they were bad but they didn't sound hoarse like these. sigh. gonna get SOUNDSTICKSII if i can, along with my new computer at the end of the year. cash saving in progress. oh, this is sudden but you know what? o level's a bitch. maybe just for me. i doubt i can catch up on the standard because it's so damn tough. little self-confidence on my part, but i don't wanna fail the god damn exam and then have to cry and wheeze like a dog on the day the results are released. yeah, sure, made it to secondary 5 and i thought i wouldn't be far from its standard. but it's worlds apart. might have made the wrong choice to return to secondary 5. i'm still unsure of what to do, but i do know that this year's F&N coursework question is tasteless to the max. and heck, i have 2 courseworks to do. this is fuckin' gay. total killjoy day for me. after looking at how the past year's batch did, which wasn't poor, already warned me that it wasn't easy-peasily done. i feel wasted from thinking. this bear watched the cloud beside it as it shitted stars while smiling at 7:47 PM. |
